Mahadiscom has reduced their electricity tariff order by 4% and they all the tariff rates are determined since 2020 for the next five years. As per the latest tariff order the consumer category is divided by 7 number such as HT – Commercial, LT – Non-Residential or Commercial, LT – Residential, LT – Non-Residential or Commercial, LT – Residential, LT – Residential and LT-Industry.
But it is created in the new MSEB electricity tariff order 2022-23, previously it is called as HT VIII(B) – Temporary Supply (others), LT V – Advertisement and Hoardings, LT VII – Temporary Supply (Religious), LT VII – Temporary Supply (Others), LT VIII – Crematoriums and Burial Grounds, HT VIII (A) HT – Temporary Supply Religious, LT-V(A) – Power Loom and LT-V(B) – Industry (General).
Now let us see the electricity per unit rate as per Mahadiscom and Mseb or Mahavitran etc.
LT Residential Tariff:
It contains different slaps such as 0-100 units such as ₹ 3.36 per unit, for next 200 units which range from 101 300 units is ₹ 7.34/-, and the 301 – 500 units will be ₹ 10.37 and the above 500 units, the consumption will be ₹ 11.86/- Also, the consumer shall pay fixed charges of ₹ 105 per connection for single phase and the ₹ 350/- for three phase to be paid.
And the consumer, who is under BPL category, will be charged ₹1.16 per units for all the consumption. And the fixed charges will be ₹28 for the BPL consumer.

Wheeling and Fuel Allocation charges:
Also, the mseb charges 1.35 per unit as Wheeling charges and 1.61 as Fuel allocation charges in addition to their electricity bill.
LT II: LT Non-Residential or Commercial:
Lt Consumer shall pay their electricity bill based on the connected load i.e LT consumer shall pay 0 to 20 kW 7.07 and the for the connected load consumer of 20kW to 50kW, they shall pay 10.79 per units for more than 50kW the consumer shall pay 12.76 as per unit costs. Along with that consumer shall pay 427 per kW for connected loads.
